From June 28 (Tuesday) to July 3 (Sunday), the stage Lyrical Lily "Senri! no Michi mo Ippo kara" will be held at the HIKOSEN THEATER!

For those members who are looking forward to seeing what the play will be like, we interviewed Matsuta Ittai, who will write the script and direct the play!

Q1. How did you get involved in directing and writing the script for the stage show Lyrical Lily "Senri! no Michi mo Ippo kara"?

ーIn the summer of 2020, I directed the stage production "We are RAISE A SUILEN ~BanG Dream! The Stage~". It was through this connection that I was approached by the producer.

I consider it a great honor to have a continuing relationship in this job.

Q2. what is the content of the stage Lyrical Lily "Senri! no Michi mo Ippo kara"?

ーLyrical Lily has been accepted as a DJ unit at the prestigious Arisugawa Gakuin after a long and tortuous journey, and now comes with big news.

They have been invited to the international music festival "IMF", which is sponsored by a company of Miiko's father.

The "IMF" is called the Olympics of music, and those who perform on stage are awarded the title of first-class musicians.

Kurumi and Miiko want to participate, but Miyu and Haruna were not so sure.

So Miyu meets Tsubaki Aoyagi from RONDO at a church she visits when she has problems, and discusses her concerns…

The story is about Lyrical Lily's growth with the help of Dalia Matsuyama and Saori Hidaka of "Merm4id" and Towa Hanamaki of "Photon Maiden".

In addition, Lyrical Lily's songs are interspersed throughout the story, which we believe will be enjoyable for those who are seeing the play for the first time.

Q3. What are some of the points that you would like us to focus on and watch?

ーWe hope that you will enjoy the main storyline, but we have also included a unit storyline from the "D4DJ Groovy Mix" rhythm game for smartphones, which is currently being distributed by popular demand, in the reminiscence scene. We hope that you will also take note of the reproduction of the story.

The theater has excellent visual effects, so we would like to express the world of Lyrical Lily with beautiful visuals.

Q4. What do you want people to see in Lyrical Lily because of the stage?

ーI hope you can feel their struggles, their bond, and their courage to step out of the enclosed world.

And although it is a rather short play (about 50 minutes), there are many monologues (one-person narratives) by Hazuki Tanda, who plays Miyu Sakurada, and there is quite a lot of dialogue... I think it will be worth seeing from a theatrical point of view!

Q5. Could you give a message to the BMPASS members reading this interview?

I enjoyed D4DJ's live performances, both on the streaming and local venue. I have also felt the enthusiasm of the fans pushing the live performances forward.

This time, the show will be on stage, but I believe it will be a stage where the audience will be able to see the girls as if it were a live performance, so please come to the venue and support them!
